JOB TITLE: Head Sommelier
SHORT DESCRIPTION: We are looking for a Head Sommelier to join our team!
JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Creates and updates wine lists that pair with food menus
• Makes recommendations on food and wine pairings
• Advises guests on wines based on their personal tastes
• Supervises wine serving
• Ensures that the wine cellar is fully stocked
• Trains wait staff on available wines
• Complies with health and safety regulations
Location: Mykonos
Work-Schedule: Full-time 12 month job: 6 months in Santa Marina, in MYKONOS and 6 months in POLLEN STREET SOCIAL by Jason Atherton, in LONDON
Starting date: April 2023
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

3 years in a similar position ideally within a hotel environment or luxury restaurant.
Ability to perform all essential duties during a lengthy, high-volume, and high-pressure service.
Superb attention to detail and driven by delivering exception standards.
Capacity to work with a sense of urgency.
Contribute to the growth and success of the team.
Extensive knowledge of food and wine pairings, strong interpersonal skills and a deep familiarity with the food service industry
Good English Language skills.
