Stathopoulos Fotis started his career in hospitality in the field of coffee about twenty years ago, where he remains active as a lecturer in barista seminars. He was also a judge at the National Barista Championships (SCA) from 2014 to 2019. He started working with wine in 2012 and worked in restaurants as a sommelier, manager, and lecturer of educational programs related to wine service and tasting in Athens, Mykonos, and Berlin. He attended many training programs on the subject in many different institutions such as the WSPC (WSET Lv 3), the Court of Master Sommelier (1st Lv), the Agricultural Institute of Athens, and Genius in Gastronomy, where he is a graduate of the Wine & Sommelier Expert program course. In 2018 he was successfully certified as a sommelier by the Association de la Sommellerie Internationale (Sommelier ASI Dip num. 3131). Since 2015 he has been a registered member of the Panhellenic Association of Sommeliers. He works in Tinos in the restaurant Kalopsia of George Stylianoudakis as a sommelier – beverage manager.
